Mahatma Gandhi - Father of the Nation

I am sure you all would like to listen story of Bapu whose birthday we are celebrating "2nd October" across whole India.

Gandhiji was one of the greatest Indian of all time. He is called the “Father of the Indian Nation”. His original name was Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi. He was given the title of “Mahatma“, which implies “Great Soul“. We also call him “Bapu” with great respect and affection.

Long ago, 142 in the past on this day of 1869, a lovely little kid was created in Porbandar city in Gujarat. Father Karamchand Gandhi and mother Putlibai were very happy. They known as the kid “Mohan” — Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi. When Mohan grew, he was greatly influenced by loyalty and tight self-discipline of his father and by convenience and spiritual ideas of his mother. At very young age, the shy little child discovered great principles of honesty, reliability, loyalty and self-discipline. He lived these values throughout his life and rightly demonstrated power of these values to entire world.

When Mohan grew older, like any other youngsters, he also dropped in bad company and grabbed few improper routines as well. He hid these bad actions from his mother and father. But his principles did not allow these improper routines to stay any longer with him. He realized the mistake and genuinely repented for his bad habits. He confessed to his father by writing a letter to him. Perhaps this incident made him to devotedly, throughout his life, follow the principles trained by parents.

Mohan was sent to Britain to research law. After research, he became attorney in Indian. For a situation, he frequented Southern African- American. Those times there was elegance between white-colored and shade people. He was ill-treated by a English who used him out of first category section of a practice. It was very embarrassing encounter. He made the decision to combat against this inhuman shade elegance by English and came back to Indian.

Compared with any other modern aggressive protestors, Mohan created a new method to fight against British — Satyagraha: protesting disfavor in a nonviolent way. Very soon, lots of individuals started following him. People called him Bapu (the father) and Mahatma (the saint). Bapu and his supporters non-violently inspired whole Indian against English concept. English caught Bapu and his supporters and sent them to prison many events but it did not prevent the satyagrahis’ will to combat against disfavor. There was no elegance in Satyagraha — individuals who have all faiths and all castes signed up with Bapu. Everyone, be it Islamic or Hindu or Sikh or from any other religious beliefs, approved other in Satyagraha as own sis.

Finally British understood that it would not be possible to concept Indian against Bapu and his supporters. Our nation got freedom on Aug 15, 1947. It was first time in history of world and humanity that a large success was obtained by Satyagraha, by nonviolence.

Since then whole world has identified success of Bapu and might of his novel method Satyagraha. Many other popular management throughout the World such as Martin Luther Master, Aung San Suu Kyi, Nelson Mandela, Ould - Hazare etc followed Satyagraha and nonviolent strategy to demonstration against disfavor or to accomplish contract with judgment government.

Conclusion:
He was a simple person and did most of his personal jobs of his own. He fought for the independence of India through non-violent and peaceful methods. He always experienced for the poor and untouchables people. He wanted to abolish untouchability from Indian society.
